Researchgate Profile

The main focus of my research is sexual selection, especially its evolutionary-genetic background. This requires understanding mechanisms maintaining genetic variance for fitness. Mutations and genes interacting with parasites, such as MHC genes, are important sources of genetic variation which are the focus of my research. Evolution of MHC genes and their role in biological conservation has become another important area of my research.
